Data Deletion Instructions

These instructions explain how to request deletion of personal information held by Clip Aro Studio Inc., a Washington corporation operating under the Clip Aro Studio brand. They also explain how to remove our connection to your Facebook or Meta account and request deletion of data associated with that connection.

Your Right to Deletion

You may ask us to delete personal information we have collected from or about you, subject to applicable law. California residents may have deletion rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA). Individuals in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and other covered jurisdictions may have erasure rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or similar privacy laws.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. In some circumstances, applicable law permits or requires us to retain certain information, as described below.

What We Delete

After verifying a valid request, we delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account and use of our services. Depending on how you interacted with Clip Aro Studio, this may include your account profile, contact information, saved preferences, uploaded materials, project-related records, support communications, and technical identifiers connected to your account.

If you used Facebook Login or another Meta integration, deletion may also cover information Meta provided to us, such as your Meta user identifier, name, email address, profile information, access tokens, and records connecting your Meta account to Clip Aro Studio. The information available to us depends on the permissions you granted and the features you used.

What We May Retain

We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect users and our services, prevent fraud or misuse, or establish and defend legal claims. We may also retain transaction, tax, accounting, audit, and business records for the periods required by applicable law. Information maintained in secured backups may remain until the applicable backup cycle expires, after which it will be deleted or overwritten.

How to Request Deletion

Email admin@cliparo.site with the subject line Data Deletion Request. Please include:

  1. Your full name.
  2. The email address associated with your Clip Aro Studio account or request.
  3. A clear statement that you want your personal information deleted.
  4. Whether your request concerns a Facebook or Meta integration.
  5. Your Facebook or Meta user ID, if available, or other details that can help us locate the associated records.
  6. A description of any specific account, project, or information covered by your request.

Please do not email passwords, payment card details, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Data from Facebook or Meta

To stop future access through Facebook, sign in to Facebook and open Settings & privacy, select Settings, then open Apps and Websites. Locate Clip Aro Studio and select the option to remove the app or integration. Facebook may update its menu names or location from time to time.

Removing the integration ends its ongoing connection but may not automatically delete information previously provided to us. To request deletion of that associated data, also email us using the process above.

Verification

To protect your information, we may verify that you control the relevant email address or account and may request reasonable additional information needed to match your request with our records. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and direct confirmation from the person concerned.

Timeline

We will confirm receipt of your request within 7 days. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. If additional time is reasonably necessary because of request complexity, legal requirements, or backup procedures, we will explain the reason and provide an updated completion estimate.
